Reflections On: Our Work

At Bellmont Partners, we work to uphold our core values – collaboration, connection, investment, flexibility and transparency – and also support clients’ values as we build partnerships together to share meaningful stories and help organizations reach their goals. Our work spans a wide range of communications services. From content marketing and stakeholder insights to thought leadership and technical writing, we use a people-centric approach to create high-quality, dependable and creative work.

We recently reflected on four aspects of the first 25+ years of Bellmont Partners – our culture, history, work and community – and captured these thoughts in video. Below is one of the videos from this series. Thanks for being part of our story – we look forward to continuing the journey.

“Partner is not just a word, it’s an action,” said Sarah Schiltz, digital strategist. “We’re showing up against some of these huge PR agencies, and we may be smaller than them, but we are just as mighty.”

Much of the team’s expertise comes from years of experience in public relations and other communications fields, and several team members bring a wide variety of other professional and life experiences to the table, as well. From nonprofits to professional baseball, to teaching and caregiving, we use these unique lenses to develop innovative strategies and solutions. No matter where we’ve come from, curiosity and integrity – what we call our journalistic approach ‑pave the way for success.

Bridget Nelson Monroe, partner and managing director, knows this firsthand, sharing, “As former journalists, which a lot of us are, we approach everything with the story in mind. So, we ask good questions, we ask questions that might be tough questions, that we know an audience, or the public might be wondering, too, and we get at the heart of it as quickly as possible.”

Experience, though certainly an asset when creating quality work, serves as an invaluable complement to another necessary ingredient: passion.

“I love the work that we do,” said Maureen Cahill, partner. “From working with iconic Minnesota companies that we’ve admired over the years, or that we’ve been a part of, we’ve worked at or we’ve worked with, to the variety of the type of clients we work with, and the type of work we get to do, it’s amazing.”
