Bridget Nelson Monroe Named One of Ragan and PR Daily’s 2022 Top Women in Communications

As a for­mer jour­nal­ist, Brid­get Nel­son Mon­roe is all about build­ing con­nec­tions between col­leagues, clients and the com­mu­ni­ty. This pas­sion, paired with her strate­gic com­mu­ni­ca­tions tal­ent and exper­tise, made her an obvi­ous choice for recog­ni­tion by Ragan and PR Dai­ly. We’re thrilled to share Brid­get has been named one of this year’s Top Women in Com­mu­ni­ca­tions, in the “Bridge Builder” category.

Bridget’s career has brought her from jour­nal­ism (Reader’s Digest and Bet­ter Homes and Gar­dens) to dig­i­tal mar­ket­ing to pub­lic rela­tions. Since her first day as Bell­mont Part­ners’ first employ­ee 10-plus years ago, Brid­get has been an inte­gral part of the growth and suc­cess of the agency. From lead­ing crit­i­cal ini­tia­tives to over­see­ing pro­fes­sion­al devel­op­ment oppor­tu­ni­ties and guid­ing agency mar­ket­ing efforts to estab­lish­ing day-to-day oper­a­tions process­es, her stead­fast lead­er­ship has been a pil­lar for her team­mates and clients over the years. Today, she brings togeth­er mul­ti­ple aspects of our oper­a­tions, com­pa­ny cul­ture and client ser­vice in her role as Part­ner – Man­ag­ing Director.

As we nav­i­gat­ed the pan­dem­ic, Brid­get focused on keep­ing our team con­nect­ed. She leads week­ly all-team Zoom hud­dles, helped launch the agency’s e‑newsletter, is a found­ing mem­ber of our Diver­si­ty, Inclu­sion & Antiracism Com­mit­tee, and led the cre­ation of our COVID-19 office reopen­ing plan, all while expand­ing Bell­mont Part­ners into Duluth and help­ing launch a new tourism mar­ket­ing cam­paign for the city. Her efforts have had a major impact on our com­pa­ny cul­ture, which has only got­ten stronger.

She tru­ly does it all, and we’re so grate­ful to work with and learn from her every day.
