As a former journalist, Bridget Nelson Monroe is all about building connections between colleagues, clients and the community. This passion, paired with her strategic communications talent and expertise, made her an obvious choice for recognition by Ragan and PR Daily. We’re thrilled to share Bridget has been named one of this year’s Top Women in Communications, in the “Bridge Builder” category.
Bridget’s career has brought her from journalism (Reader’s Digest and Better Homes and Gardens) to digital marketing to public relations. Since her first day as Bellmont Partners’ first employee 10-plus years ago, Bridget has been an integral part of the growth and success of the agency. From leading critical initiatives to overseeing professional development opportunities and guiding agency marketing efforts to establishing day-to-day operations processes, her steadfast leadership has been a pillar for her teammates and clients over the years. Today, she brings together multiple aspects of our operations, company culture and client service in her role as Partner – Managing Director.
As we navigated the pandemic, Bridget focused on keeping our team connected. She leads weekly all-team Zoom huddles, helped launch the agency’s e‑newsletter, is a founding member of our Diversity, Inclusion & Antiracism Committee, and led the creation of our COVID-19 office reopening plan, all while expanding Bellmont Partners into Duluth and helping launch a new tourism marketing campaign for the city. Her efforts have had a major impact on our company culture, which has only gotten stronger.
She truly does it all, and we’re so grateful to work with and learn from her every day.
Congratulations on this well-deserved honor, Bridget!
