Madelyn discusses her goals with her supervisor

Q&A with Bellmont Partners’ New Assistant Account Executive, Madelyn Elizondo

We’re excited to welcome and introduce you to our newest team member: Madelyn Elizondo, Assistant Account Executive!

After graduating from Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina, Madelyn began her PR career at a strategic communications firm in the Charlotte, NC, area. Originally from Minnesota, Madelyn recently returned to the Twin Cities.

We sat down with Madelyn to hear more about her background, why she returned to her home state, what she enjoys in her free time and more.

What drew you to Bellmont Partners?

The team at Bellmont Partners makes an effort to foster an environment of collaboration and places value on educating their employees. As a young professional I am always looking for opportunities to grow and learn within the communications industry. I already look up to all of the fabulous role models and value the experience and expertise each of them brings to the table.

Which aspects of public relations and agency life are you excited to learn more about?

Since I can remember, I have always had a passion for communication in a corporate setting as well as in life. By nature, I have always preferred a collaborative and fast-paced environment, and I believe agency life provides just that. The crossover between the teams and projects is a welcome change to the agency life I am familiar with. I am eager to support a team and add value to such an intertwined and well-connected group.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work?

Year round, I enjoy volunteering for Ronald McDonald House Charities and look forward to getting involved serving other local nonprofits. During the warmer months, you can find me visiting the lake, taking walks, fishing and playing with my two Goldendoodles. After the past six years living in the Carolinas, I have become quite a baby when it comes to the cold. The winter months, for me, are best spent inside watching the Packers win! I am a raging country music fan; in fact, every year I travel back to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for Carolina’s Country Music Fest!

You have a background in public relations in the Carolinas, what brought you to Minnesota?

Previous to Bellmont Partners, I had the pleasure of working in the Southeastern market based in Charlotte. Being born and raised outside the Twin Cities, I always planned on returning to my home state of Minnesota one day. Minnesota is filled with so many wonderful businesses and people with unique stories and opportunities to expand with the help of public relations. The Twin Cities are quickly growing, bringing more and more talent and young professionals to the area. The blend of transplants and those born and raised here is what excited me and brought me back to the area.

You’re joining the Bellmont Partners Technology & Manufacturing practice group. What is appealing to you about working with clients in the tech and manufacturing space?

My favorite part about working in public relations is how many experts we have the pleasure of working with. I love getting to know each client’s passion for their company and communicating all the value they add to the technology and manufacturing industry. This team relies heavily on niche knowledge of different services and products that many average consumers and professionals do not possess, and I believe there is incredible value in that.
