Campaigns and Clients: What’s New at Bellmont Partners

The sec­ond quar­ter brought excit­ing things to Bell­mont Part­ners, includ­ing work with four Min­neso­ta-based orga­ni­za­tions. We appre­ci­ate the unique blend of indus­tries we’ve added to our grow­ing ros­ter and the con­nec­tions that form through our work with these new clients and ini­tia­tives. We are delight­ed to wel­come (or wel­come back!) the following:

GIE Med­ical, a clin­i­cal stage com­pa­ny, is devel­op­ing tech­nolo­gies to trans­form gas­troen­terol­o­gy, start­ing with solu­tions for patients suf­fer­ing from benign stricture(s) of the esoph­a­gus or bow­el. GIE Medical’s Drug Coat­ed Bal­loon could offer a new solu­tion for treat­ing GI stric­tures, poten­tial­ly cre­at­ing sus­tained paten­cy and reduc­ing the num­ber of treatments.

Min­neso­ta Alliance With Youth is a non­prof­it that works with and for youth, engag­ing them as equal part­ners in find­ing the most effec­tive and equi­table solu­tions to the state’s grad­u­a­tion cri­sis. The Alliance man­ages three Ameri­Corps pro­grams: VISTA, Sum­mer Youth Sup­port Fel­lows and Promise Fel­lows. This sum­mer, The Alliance is specif­i­cal­ly ramp­ing up its recruit­ment efforts for Promise Fel­lows, a pro­gram that imple­ments a pre­ven­tion-ori­ent­ed approach to address­ing stu­dent dropout by tar­get­ing stu­dents in grades 6–12 who show ear­ly warn­ing signs of school dis­en­gage­ment. Bell­mont Part­ners is pro­vid­ing com­mu­ni­ca­tions sup­port as they hit the road for the next few weeks, on a mis­sion to find more than 50 indi­vid­u­als to serve as Promise Fel­lows for the 2023–24 school year.

After work­ing with Min­neso­ta Grown for sev­er­al years on a project-basis for ear­ly sea­son apples, we began work in June on a 16-month cam­paign high­light­ing a vari­ety of spe­cial­ty Min­neso­ta crops, includ­ing berries, farm­ers’ mar­kets, Christ­mas trees, maple syrup, hon­ey and of course, apples. We hit the ground run­ning and coor­di­nat­ed fresh straw­ber­ry drops to TV sta­tions around the state, high­light­ing the first day of sum­mer and the start of grow­ing sea­son in Minnesota.

Return­ing to an in-per­son event for the first time since 2019, Bell­mont Part­ners once again had the oppor­tu­ni­ty to pro­mote Word­play, Minnesota’s largest cel­e­bra­tion of read­ers, writ­ers and great books. Start­ing in April, we worked with The Loft, orga­niz­ers of Word­play, to share with media the line­up of authors appear­ing at the 2023 event, and coor­di­nat­ed inter­views and seg­ments lead­ing up to the July 8 event in down­town Minneapolis.
