RANDYS Worldwide, a leading supplier of automotive parts, engaged with Bellmont Partners to launch a public relations campaign focused on increasing local recruitment efforts for one of its brands, Zumbrota Drivetrain.

Based in a small town in Minnesota, Zumbrota Drivetrain was a longtime fixture in the community, but did not have a dedicated communications initiative to share announcements and news related to the company’s culture to attract new employees in a tight labor market.

Winning Earned Media

In short order, Bellmont Partners kicked off a media relations campaign targeting local news outlets in the area with stories about Zumbrota Drivetrain including a fundraising event for a local charity, an employee car show hosted at the facility and its hiring initiative. In just four months, Zumbrota Drivetrain earned over 20 pieces of earned media coverage in key regional media.

Additionally, we engaged with local organizations like the City of Zumbrota, community festivals and school districts, to boost the company’s profile with jobseekers in order to build a pipeline of potential applicants looking for internships and entry-level positions.
