Renewal by Andersen, the window replacement division of Andersen Corporation, was looking to inspire, inform and motivate homeowners to choose them for replacement windows in their homes. They partnered with Bellmont Partners to develop a fully integrated public relations program which utilized timely and focused media outreach to deliver a steady stream of coverage to increase awareness and drive sales, including:
Ongoing media relations outreach to consumer, trade, national and regional media, including new product introductions, project case studies and generating news and coverage for retail partners across the country. For example, when Renewal by Andersen’s retail partner in Fargo donated windows to the Medora Foundation in North Dakota, Bellmont Partners supported the donation with media outreach, earning broadcast and print stories across the state, as well as Associated Press pick-up across the country.
Supporting larger, company-wide marketing initiatives. When Renewal by Andersen secured reality TV star Matt Muenster for a video series, we pitched the project to national, local and niche media, resulting in several pieces, as well as ongoing national and niche media opportunities about how Renewal by Andersen had the products and expertise to provide replacement windows in Matt’s own home.
Drafting and submitting local and trade award nominations, resulting in Renewal by Andersen winning the 2017 Eureka! Innovation Award from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, runner-up in the “Best in Class – Large” category of Minnesota Business Magazine’s Manufacturing Awards, and recognition for a local retailer from Window & Door Magazine for Dealer of the Year – Excellence in Customer Service.
