From day one, the focus has been on reinforcing Malco’s leadership position in the industry while building authentic connections with key stakeholders — including distributors, end users, employees and media — across the country.
Our efforts have included media relations, executive thought leadership, internal communications and change management. We’ve played a key role in communicating the company’s evolution both internally and externally, supporting initiatives including new product launches, award nominations, opening of new facilities, and communication strategies designed to showcase Malco’s commitment to culture and people through internal initiatives.
As part of our efforts, we’ve reintroduced Malco to national trade and business media, securing 156 placements and 137 wire pickups in 2024 alone, reaching an audience of over 96 million. Our strategic approach has positioned Malco’s CEO and other leaders as industry thought leaders through content, blog posts and award nominations. Bellmont Partners has also helped Malco gain recognition with nine industry awards, including a Manufacturing Excellence Award from Twin Cities Business and Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Medium Manufacturer of the Year.
Over the past few years, Malco has embraced major organizational transformation — from new leadership to the implementation of new processes such as the Traction operating system, to expanding into new verticals like roofing and siding, which has allowed the company to grow significantly while continuing to build momentum through strategic communications.
Most recently, Bellmont Partners supported the company through an acquisition and subsequent launch of The Malco Group, a consolidation of eight leading HVACR brands under one company, using communications strategies to support the integration of these businesses while continuing to position the new North American brand for future growth and success.
