Twin Cities public relations agency Bellmont Partners, winner of multiple “Best Places to Work” awards, is seeking a new senior-level team member to add to our growing Professional Services & Public Affairs practice group. We’re looking for a strong B2B marketer with at least seven years of experience who is passionate about partnering with clients in the health benefits, professional services and public affairs fields. This person will have a passion for content strategy, content marketing and content creation, and will feel comfortable driving projects forward working closely with client teams and internal teams. Depending on experience, skills and areas of interest, potential roles include Associate Director, Account Supervisor or Account Strategist.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Day-to-day responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Account Team Leadership and Implementation – 85%

  • Serve as the lead or co-lead on two large accounts within the Professional Services & Public Affairs practice group in the areas of health benefits and other professional services
  • Develop forward-thinking content strategies and plans, confidently working with clients to chart new paths forward and collaborating with internal teams to implement plans
  • Present ideas and recommendations to clients, advising on all areas of our scope of work
  • Develop and implement deliverables that are high-quality and on-strategy for accounts of all sizes
  • Oversee development of materials from start to finish in areas including owned media (e.g., social media posts, website copy, blog posts, newsletter copy, marketing collateral, etc.), earned media (e.g., media pitches, news releases, media kit materials, etc.), thought leadership (e.g., bylined articles, award and speaking nominations, etc.), and occasionally paid media (e.g., ad copy or scripts, paid social media posts, sponsored articles, etc.).
  • Manage vendors and partners in areas such as videography, podcasting, design and more
  • Work closely with the Director of the practice group to lead or co-lead new initiatives, set new strategies for clients within the group, and more

Professional Development/Operations/Administrative/Paid Volunteer Time – 15%

  • Work with manager to establish individual professional development goals that align with the agency’s overall annual goals and objectives and your areas of interest; make consistent progress toward goals through professional development events and resources, seeking out additional projects to flex new skills
  • Participate in staff meetings, one-on-one check-ins with manager, and other agency meetings and events
  • Complete personal administrative tasks in a timely manner, including weekly time entry, monthly expense reports, etc.
  • If interested, seek out volunteer opportunities that align with personal and professional goals and areas of interest, using Bellmont Gives Back hours (paid volunteer time)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least seven years of experience, ideally with a strong focus on content strategy, content marketing, content creation, client service and/or health benefits and professional services fields
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to translate technical language to easily digestible copy
  • Based in or able to relocate to Minnesota
