We had a fantastic time at the Minnesota PRSA Classics Awards last night, honoring our town’s best and brightest strategic communicators and celebrating the greatest work and achievements of our local PR community.
It was a treat to visit The Machine Shop and take in the beautiful sights of the historic, spacious venue.
Bellmont Partners took home the win in the Marketing Services, Agency/Organization with <25 Employees category for our work with longtime client GradStaff, an outsourced college recruiting firm. Bellmont Partners reached key influencers, established credibility for GradStaff and its leadership, and coordinated several high-profile national media hits on CNBC.com, Parade.com, MSN.com, in American City Business Journals, and more.
We were also named a finalist in the following categories:
Brand Research and Insights: We helped Second Harvest Heartland launch a public awareness campaign by first conducting an audience analysis and prioritization exercise, and then developing a key messaging platform. Both the analysis and platform were informed by more than two months of research, in-depth stakeholder interviews and strategy sessions. All of this up-front research has informed the execution phase of our work with this important organization.
Community Relations, Agency/Organization with <25 employees: Bellmont Partners has partnered with Advance IT Minnesota since the launch of the Aspirations in Computing Awards in Minnesota in 2012 to help promote the awards program for high school girls to potential applicants, school districts and potential sponsors. We’ve told the story of bridging the technology gap in gender and diversity from live TV segments to small-town newspapers and everything in between, and are proud to have record numbers of applicants in the program year after year.
Our own Briana Gruenewald was also named a finalist for the PRSA Young Professional of the Year Award. Briana has an exceptional track record in brand development, graphic design, media relations, communications and promotions, which she puts into action with clients including Explore Minnesota Tourism, Second Harvest Heartland, Fuel Up to Play 60, Girls on the Run-Twin Cities, MHTA Foundation and more. Briana has served on the marketing committee for the Minnesota Interactive Marketing Association (MIMA), volunteers with ThreeSixty Journalism and serves as a mentor with Art Buddies.
We are proud of the strong partnerships we have with all of our clients, and we’re so pleased to be recognized by our peers for the great work we do. Thank you!
