With the surrounding foliage still displaying prime shades of orange, red and yellow, we celebrated the season, our awesome view of the Twin Cities (yep, we can see both Minneapolis and St. Paul) and an important cause with a fabulous “Fall Fete” – complete with cake pops galore!
Clients, business partners and friends mixed and mingled with staff, students and alumni of ThreeSixty Journalism. The nonprofit youth program uses the principles of strong writing and reporting to help diverse Minnesota youth tell stories of their lives and communities. Bellmont Partners is part of the program’s bundling effort to raise funds in advance of its November 14 Widening the Circle gala.
From the two who started it all (former journalists Dave Nimmer and Lynda McDonnell) to students who have been affected by the program since 2001, the room was buzzing with conversations about what ThreeSixty is, what it does and how it truly transforms lives and catalyzes communications careers.
Thanks to the generosity of several donors last night, we raised $1,018 for ThreeSixty Journalism’s future programming. If you couldn’t make it to our Fall Fete, but would still like to support the next generation of storytellers, you can donate here. Or, consider attending ThreeSixty’s signature Widening the Circle dinner and fundraiser on Nov. 14, featuring NPR’s Eric Deggans.
Thanks to all who attended and contributed. Until the next Bellmont event!
